Hike (or run!) with us in Southern France.
We will follow the Stevenson Trail 227 km through
the four regions Velay, Gévaudan, Mont Lozere and Cevennes.
This trail has a fascinating history. The writer Robert Louis
Stevensons was 28 years old, miserable and lovesick and wanted to find a distraction
in an adventure when he 1889 hiked through this beautiful landscape. He then wrote the book ”Travels with a donkey“ about his experiences.
The 'Chemin de Stevenson' is a mixed trail with wonderful views.
We will pass small romantic villages and wellknown rivers such as Lot, Allier and Loire. We will hike across the hills in the vulcano region Auvergne and through the mountains of the nationalpark Cevennen.
It will be a hike or trailrun for those of you who like wild and beautiful scenery. At the same time you can explore French history and culture.
