Ozzy Osbourne announces 2018 farewell world tour
First Black Sabbath, now the Prince of Darkness himself. Ozzy Osbourne has announced plans to retire and will embark on a final world tour next year stretching all the way into 2020. Once the shows are over, Osbourne will retire from touring but intends
to perform select live shows.
So far only the first leg of dates have been announced, which kick off May 5 in Mexico and wrap up Jun. 2 in Lisbon, PT.
This isn't the first time the rocker has retired. Back in 1992 Osbourne embarked on a farewell tour, but he returned to touring three years later with his appropriately titled Retirement Sucks Tour. Black Sabbath concluded a lengthy farewell tour earlier this year bringing an end to their 40-year run. Their final concert in Birmingham was filmed and will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD as The End: Live in Birmingham on Nov. 17.
